Booking an Appointment
We understand that booking appointments can be difficult for young people and have looked at how we can make this easier for you.
Phoning the practice - please don’t worry if you are waiting a while – you may be in a queue and your call will be answered as soon as we can. Our receptionist may ask you some questions about your problem – this is just to ensure that you get the best help as quickly as possible.
On line - if you are between 13 and 15 years of age we can offer a service where you can book your own appointments using a online service called 'patient access' which is also available to download as an app. Please ask at reception on how to register or simply email 'online request' to email@example.com for further registration details.
This online service also includes access to ordering medication, allergies and immunisations, and is available for everyone over 16. You can simply download the ‘patient access’ app then request to register at reception. Simple guides will be available to help you set up this service.
If you are 13 or over please remember to update your details with us so we have your personal contact details alongside your parents.
Pop in! – our receptionists are very approachable and will give priority to young people who require an urgent appointment.
You can also receive text reminders for your appointments – please update your mobile details at reception and ask for a consent form [13years and over].
