I qualified from Newcastle University Medical School in 1982 and joined Eaglescliffe Medical Practice in 1986. I have particular interest in contraception and women`s health. I have particularly enjoyed contributing to the child health clinics.  I am the registered CQC Manager and the Child Safeguarding Lead. Additionally I am an elected member of the Cleveland Local Medical Committee. In my spare time I enjoy being a mum to my now three grown up children.

Dr Angela Waterhouse (f)

I qualified from Birmingham medical school in 1990 then trained and worked as a GP in the West Midlands before moving to Eaglescliffe Medical Practice in 2002. I am a GP trainer- I supervise doctors through their training to become GPs and I also teach medical students.

Dr Fiona Smith has been working at the practice for 15 years. As well as teaching medical students Dr Smith has a special interest in young people's health.

Dr Mike Greenaway (m)

Dr Greenaway qualified as a doctor on 1992 and has worked at Eaglescliffe Medical Practice since 2004.

First registered 2010 (Newcastle) 

Dr Stephen Salvati started working at the practice in 2016 and is involved in the training of GP registrars.

First registered 1996 (Liverpool)

Practice Lead for Cancer and Palliative Care.

In addition to their roles as family practitioners the doctors maintain expertise by having appointments in clinical governance (raising the quality and standards in the NHS), appraisal of other GPs, emergency care, the Health Protection Agency and medical teaching.
